The simple three-hand movement with the well proportioned onion style crown and the blue Dauphine style hour and minute hands makes for a reliable and eye-catching timepiece that is never out of place. The engraved scrollwork faceplate on the movement makes for a stunning look while the grooved flange gives some semblance of indices and serves as a reminder that this is after all a timepiece! The large 44mm round case is constructed of solid 316L surgical grade stainless steel and is finished so elegantly with its beveled polish bezel. The Krysterna™ crystal on top is domed and the flat Krysterna™ crystal fixed into the screw-in case-back is extra large for ease of viewing all the way through the Winchester Grand. The backside view is truly spectacular with the skeletonized and hand-engraved rotor being the star attraction. The Winchester Grand is 50 meters water resistant and is mounted on a geniune leather strap with crocodile embossing. i thought something was wrong with how i wound it. i let it sit a day, could see spring unwound, wound it 20 turns. wore it 1/2 day and by 4 pm i lost an hour in there somewhere. will be sending this one back.

Stuhrling had been known for producing some of the most interesting timepieces. This watch is very nice and reliable. Beautiful skeletonization to the watch. A real conversation piece. I love it.

I did not buy this watch to be my everyday time piece, i wanted something elegant and mechanical for its charm when i go out all dressed up. Upon first impression this watch didn't look as 'nice' as it looks in the pictures, the metals behind the glass aren't polished and look dull and cheap. I was able to look past that for the price. The construction of the watch is very poor. The first time i set the clock the crown came out like it was a cheap street vendor watch. It also does not keep good time, i have a citizen i use as my daily watch and this piece usually runs about 2 minutes slow after about a day. POOR quality parts/construction.
Overall i would call this a bad deal. I didn't expect much for $120 but i was still let down. Shame on Stuhrling for making such a poor quality timepiece. I would never buy another watch manufactored by them again

I bought this watch for my husband for Christmas. It is a really great looking watch. It really looks like I paid a lot more for it. He loves it, although with his job, he isn't really able to wear it all the time (it's more of a special occasion watch). When he does wear it, people are in awe of it.

I would recommend that you take a look at the size measurements before purchasing, because this watch really is large. I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is. Based on this watch, I would for sure buy another Stuhrling!

I bought the watch for my husband as a Christmas gift, and presented to him when we were in Germany for the holiday. When my husband saw the watch at first sight, he loved it, but he didn't tried it on until he's back to work in US after holidays, after he put it on, my husband sooner found the watch runs a few minutes ahead in every week, I contacted the customer service in Amazon for an exchange, and due to the bulky package for the watch was left in Germany, the answer from Amazon is "no", meanwhile Amazon guided me with an email address to the CS of Stuhrling, I emailed the same request to Stuhrling, the answer for an exchange is also "no", but they said I can send the watch to them for a repair. My husband felt that the whole procedure was too troublesome, he decided to let the watch sit alone in the drawer.
